

Marjorie May Powe, 90, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017, in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born January 7, 1927, in Grady County, Georgia to the late Meredith and Annie Lowe. Mrs. Powe was a homemaker and bookkeeper over the years. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, square dancing, quilting, crafts and watching football. In addition to her parents, her husband, Albert Edward, her sister Frances Logue and brother Audie Lowe preceded her in death. Surviving are her six children, Eugenia Browning of Adel, GA , Ken (Eunice) Powe of Jacksonville, FL, Dan Powe of Palm Coast, FL, Becky (Don) Glennon of Sherman, IL, Susan (Greg) Walski of Fleming Island, FL, and Jimmy (Marie) Powe of Odenville, AL; fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 10am to 11am on Saturday, November 11, 2017 in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. The Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 11, 2017 in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin, followed by interment in Arlington Memorial Park 6921 Lone Star Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32211.
