Mary Frances "Susie" Newman

Our beautiful Mama and Granny, Susie Newman, 71, passed away on April 25, 2014. She has earned her Angel Wings and gone to be with our Lord. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 49 years, Herschell Don Newman, who passed away in 2006.

Mama was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She loved her family and always put us first. Her greatest joy was taking care of and doing for her family.

Thank you, Mama, for loving us so much. We will love you always and you will always be in our hearts. Your son Herschel J. Newman and wife Suzanne Newman, your daughter Sharon L. Thompson, your grandchildren Chelsea and Chase Newman, sisters, brother, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to her sister, Aunt Marsha, for all your help and love.

Visitation 6-8 pm Wednesday, April 30 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 729 S. Edgewood Ave, Jacksonville.

Funeral Service 1 PM Thursday, May 1, 2014 at the funeral home.
