

Mary Moore Tepper, age 103, a long time resident of Jacksonville, died at her home on Saturday, November 1, 2014. Born in Lebanon, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late William J. and Apalonia Morris Leake. Throughout her life she enjoyed gardening, playing golf and bridge and was a member of various clubs.
Mary is survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, and great-grand nieces and great-grand nephews, whose lives she touched. In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by several brothers and sisters, a nephew, and her husbands; Walter W. Moore and Stanley S. Tepper.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Assumption Catholic Church, 2403 Atlantic Boulevard, Jacksonville on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at one o’clock in the afternoon with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from three o’clock until five o’clock in the afternoon at Hardage Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Avenue.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the caregivers who took such wonderful care of Aunt Mary during her illness. The family is profoundly grateful for the years of excellent care she received.
