Matthew was a man of deep faith and service. He was actively involved in the Production and Nehemiah Teams at The Church of Eleven22 and served as a deacon and youth team member at M.B.C. He gave his time generously as a t-ball coach, softball player, and mission volunteer with Good Shepherd Ministries in Guatemala. As a true Disney-loving dad, he was a natural at building special memories with his family. He was an enthusiastic sports fan cheering on the L.A. Dodgers, Texas Tech, Georgia Bulldogs, Dallas Cowboys, and Jacksonville Jaguars. He especially loved spending time with his four dogs, who brought him endless joy.
Matthew will be remembered for his servant’s heart, his love for his family, his kindness, and the laughter he brought to those around him. His legacy of faith and devotion will continue to live on through all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of Matthew's life is being planned with a target date toward the end of January. We will update once we have a set date and time.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in Matthew's memory to The Good Shepherd Missions http://goodshepherdguatemala.org/
