My Dear Dr. Thint. How did I not know you were ill when you left the practice?  I knew you were the best of my care with you.  I was sitting here at my home and all of a sudden you popped in my head. I then started looking for you and there you were.  You were gone to a better place, but way too early.  I am so sorry for your family. I'm sorry for your patients. You are so missed by so many people. 
I apologize to your family for not knowing sooner.

I just found out today that she passed away when making an appointment requesting her and another Dr thinking “just in case Dr. Maymon may not be available again,” because she’s my preferred Dr. It took me a minute to register and for things to settle. She was the most comfortable Dr I could ask for and she had an amusing way of asking questions in a manor that would try to make any patient the least uncomfortable. I found that adorable and admirable. 

Condolences to the family and may you continue to prosper and be well. 

I am very sad at the lost of a person that was beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. Dr. Thint  was my doctor for 5 years and was my mothers for three years before Dr. Thint passed away. We have missed having her as a doctor. RIP Dr. Thint and my prayers and condolences for the family.

I was so sad to hear of Dr Thint's passing. She was the most caring, compassionate and thorough doctor I have ever met. She touched so many lives with her expertise- she will always be remembered for that as well as what a wonderful person she was outside of her professional life. I am very saddened to hear of Dr. Thint's passing.   I never had the pleasure to meet her, but she was my husband Geraldo's physician for several years.   This is particularly hard for me as I lost my husband to brain cancer at 56 years of age this past December.  

Geraldo was so very fond and spoke so very highly of young Dr. Thint.  They were practically the same age and he used to tell me that she was so much on target with her medical advise which was very practical and simple.  Her focus on natural healing and maintaining a balanced diet rich in fruits and vegetables was key to my husband's health for many years.  

My most sincere condolences to the family, friends, her practice staff, particularly to her husband and daughter.  I know this is tremendously difficult and will take time.  She will always be missed.  I pray that God grants you all the strength and comfort.  Treasure the memories and continue to share her story.

I am so sorry to hear of her transition, I will miss her. She took very good care of me. I  wanted her  for my doctor, when I meet her through  one of my colleagues. My husband and I were patients of Dr. Thint for many years, following her to several locations. She was one of the most caring physicians we have ever encountered. Her daughter is about the same age as our 2 youngest granddaughters and we sometimes shared stories about them and travel experiences.  She will be greatly missed by many. May Mon and I were family friends and we called her nick name, Sweetie...
We had been friends since childhood. She was a sweet girl wanted to get along with us as we were a little older than her. We had met at gatherings by our parents until we left our country, Burma.
Very sad to hear about her leaving at such young age.

May and I have known each other since we were in grade school. I remember May in her yellow plaid skirt tagging along with our group who are all 3 years older than her. 
She has become my sister through marriage and we have been greater friends since. 
She has always has a calm demeanor and saw the positive in all manners of life. This reflects her love for all with immeasurable patience. We will all miss you May. We were supposed to go on a cruise together remember?

I met Dr. Thint has a employee of NFAN .  Then a patient of hers I recommended everyone to her she is the Best.  I will miss her.    Dr.  Thint you are God's gift to me rest on peace.

My exhusband and I started seeing Dr Thint when she first moved to Jacksonville and continued under her care until she was no longer working. She was the best physician we ever had. She was always caring and interested in each with whom she came in contact. We can say we loved her and will miss her very much.

Dr. Thint is an amazing person.  We are so blessed to have had such an amazing doctor.  I never met a doctor that care so much for her patient as much as she does.  I remember the night she came over to our house with her nurses to visit my husband that was diagnosed with lung cancer.  She brought him flan than she personally cooked herself.  She made time for him with her busy schedule.  She go above and beyond for her love and passion for her patients.  She was also one of my biggest support when my husband went to heaven.  That's the kind of person she is Loving, caring, compassionate, and very beautiful inside and out.  We are truly going to miss her dearly.  We love you!!!

I met Maymon in 1993 in Mt. Sinai hospital in Cleveland, OH when I was interviewing for residencies. She helped me secure another interview at Meridia hospital.
We have friends in common.
Her grandmother Aunty Marie Hla Taw was my mother’s friend also.

One of our beautiful Jax Angels is now Rest In Peace . I met  You and all Jax Angels memorably at your home  over 5 years ago . Even you were busy and tired after work, you were always energetic and never stopped , kept going with big smile for everything.
You had helped many people even while you were fighting with deadly  cancer .
We hoped for the best and prayed together for almost two years but now you left us . You have shown us how to prepare and face the most difficult time .

Dr. Thint had been my first and only primary care physician since I moved to Jacksonville back in 2009. She was always loving, kind, very gentle, thoughtful, thourough, and a very hard worker. She was instrumental in saving my life. I considered her a great friend and a passionate internist. This is a great loss to all, but especially to her family. I send grace, love, blessings, and prayers to Maymon and to her family as well as her colleagues from past to present. She is missed. 

Dr. Maymon Thint was always kind, soft-spoken and caring.  She was always happy to answer any nurse's question and guide us with our patients.
I worked as an RN at the TB control clinic in Paul Hughes Clinic and Dr. Thint was always accessible, compassionate, and reassuring with her beautiful smile.

My condolences to Family of the Best Doctor any patient could have asked for. Her passion, kindness, warmth, strength, and BIG HEART caught my attention upon transitioning to Jacksonville Florida as I searched for not only a physician, but a BELIEVER. I found Dr. Thint to be that and so much more than a regular physician to her patients.  Her physical body made have had  to endure some bumps and bruises, but this I know from her, that her soul is resting now. She fought a good fight, she finished her course, and now she's resting in her eternal place. I LOVE YOU MY DEAR FRIEND!

Maymon and I were coworkers at the Health Dept in Broward County in the 90's. We shared intellectual/medical conversations, and many girl-talk at lunch or after department's meetings. She had a kind, generous soul, respected and loved by all members of the medical team.
