Michael Shaun Davis

On Monday, July 26, 2021, Michael Shaun Davis, loving husband and father, passed away at the age of 74. Michael was born and raised in New Castle, Indiana, the son of Fred and Betty Davis. He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1974 from Purdue University and practiced for 42 years with a specialty in surgery. On August 24, 1985, he married Rhonda Smith. They raised one son, Jordan (Jamie). Michael was an avid runner and made many friends in the Jacksonville area while pursuing this passion. He was known by those close to him for his kindness and compassion for Man and animal alike. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Fred, and his mother, Betty. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda, and his son, Jordan.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 7th, 2021, at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church on 7801 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida, 32211 at 11 o’clock.
