Michael Anthony DeAngelis

Michael was a graduate of Dupont High School and Sante Fe Community College. After serving in the US Navy, he attended the University of Georgia, becoming a lifelong and loyal Dawg.

Michael was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Edna and James K. Pedrick and paternal grandparents, Sadie and Benjamin DeAngelis.

Michael is survived by his daughter, Jamie DeAngelis (Ronnie); Grandson, Ryen DeAngelis; parents, Archie and Betty DeAngelis; sister, Edna Corrigan (the Honorable Michael); nieces: Chelsea and Emily Corrigan; and nephew, Connor Corrigan, all of Jacksonville, FL.

The funeral service will occur 3 PM Monday, June 6th at Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 San Jose Blvd., with Deacon David Yazdiya officiating. The family will receive friends at Oaklawn Chapel one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Georgia Bulldog Club of Jacksonville Scholarship Fund, P.O.
