DRURY – Michael John Drury, 61, passed away Tuesday, April 19,2016. Michael was a Jacksonville native and a 1972 graduate of Ribault High School. He had retired from the City of Jacksonville Public Works after 30 years of service. Michael was a Jaguars season ticket holder from the start, loved his time with his daughter, Shelby, and could never get enough of golf with his friends. He enjoyed fishing and music too. Michael will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Guy and Nellie Drury and his dad, Donald Drury. His surviving family includes: his daughter, Shelby Drury, his mother, Pat Drury; a brother, Don (Karen) Drury, a sister, Pam Smith; and his nieces and nephews, Shane, Matthew, Kayla and Scott. A memorial service will be held Monday, April 25, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave. In lieu of flower that family asks that donations be made, in Michael’s memory, to the charity of one’s choice.
