Michael Wallace King, age 75, of Jacksonville, passed away on January 25, 2015. He was born January 31, 1939 in St. Petersburg, Florida to Olive and Wallace King. He was the widower of Selena Diane King. He was a flutist, serving in the Marine Band, marching in John F. Kennedy's funeral procession, and playing for the Jacksonville Symphony. In addition, he worked for many years with Prudential, and later, IBM.
He is survived by his son, Christopher King and his wife Melissa, and their two children, Haley and Olivia.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 14, 2015 at one o’clock in the afternoon at Hardage – Giddens, THE OAKLAWN CHAPEL, 4801 San Jose Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32207
