Mildred Norvell Ellis passed away on June 13, 2022 at the age of 97. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Q Ellis. She is survived by two sons, Michael Bledsoe (Tamara) of Jackson, Georgia and Ralph Bledsoe of Jacksonville, Florida, former daughter in law Quinn Bledsoe of Peachtree City, Georgia, granddaughters Meredith Bledsoe of San Francisco, California and Jen Vihrachoff of Jacksonville, Florida and two great granddaughters, Leighton and Addison Vihrachoff. Mildred was born in Atlanta, Georgia and was a world traveler and active in First Baptist Church of Jacksonville. She was a one of a kind lady, full of energy, positivity, and love for her family. Her generous spirit, passion for the Holidays, and love and affection for her granddaughters and great granddaughters will be missed. Rest in peace Mildred.
A funeral service for Mildred will be held Friday, June 24, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 SAN JOSE BLVD, JACKSONVILLE, FL 32207. Following the funeral service will be a committal service at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
