Mildred Marie Lang

Mildred Marie Lang, 81, resident of Jacksonville, passed away November 26, 2012. She was born in Clayton, NJ, daughter of the late Edward and Mildred Mathews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, James Michael Lang and daughter, Kimberly Lang Motes. Mildred leaves behind one loving daughter, Kelle Hartley (Mark), three grandchildren, Justin, Morgan and Jarret Hartley as well as many dear friends. She was a long time member of Southpoint Baptist Church. Mildred was known by many as Mernye, a name given to her by the many children she loved and cared for in her home-based daycare for over 25 years. Those close to her will remember how much she loved Jesus and her family. Mildred was an accomplished seamstress and had made many bridesmaid and wedding dresses. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 28 at 11:00 am at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL, with Pastor Terry Collins officiating.
