She was born Oct. 15, 1913 in Ridge Spring, SC and resided in Jacksonville most of her adult life. Mildred attended Southside Baptist Church where she was one of the original founding members. She loved the Lord, her family, and her church. She was involved in many outreach ministries including teaching Sunday School for many years.
Mildred was a member of the Eastern Star and also worked in real estate. She would sell homes faster than Needham was able to build. They always worked as a team. They both were actively involved in the starting of the Senior Citizen Centers in Jacksonville.
She is survived by her children, Barbara Dice (Tom), Robert Jackson (Betty), and Teresa Walters, all of Jacksonville; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
