

Muriel Whitney Wise Seabreeze was born September 6, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY, and passed away peacefully in her home on November 17, 2017, at the age of 80. Muriel was a registered nurse, with specialties in rehabilitation and home care. She worked in numerous hospitals in Philadelphia and New York, and was a community nurse for the City of Philadelphia, and a school nurse with the School District of Philadelphia. Muriel grew up in Tenafly, NJ and was educated in New Jersey Schools. She graduated from Columbia University Presbyterian Nursing School, and received her Bachelor Of Science of nursing from University of Pennsylvania. During her time at University of Pennsylvania she was also a member of the Drama Guild of Experimental Theater. She spent the majority of her life in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, before retiring, and moving to Jacksonville, Florida. In her personal time she found joy in gardening, reading, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. She was baptized at the Roman Catholic Church of Gesu in Philadelphia and continued her devotion to her spirituality as a member of the St Joseph's Catholic Church of Jacksonville. A devout catholic, Muriel also traveled to Israel and Rome, Italy, where she sang for the Pope as a part of the St Joseph's Catholic Church choir. She is survived by her four children, Angela Curran, Allen Wise, Lhonell Seabreeze, and Michelle Seabreeze, seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin in Jacksonville, Florida, at 11am on Sunday, November 26. Condolences can also be shared via website at www.hgmandarin.com.
