JONES……..Myrtle R. Jones, 75, passed away on May 11, 2010. She is survived by her husband, John W. Jones, Jr. Mrs. Jones was a member of Arlington Baptist Church and was very active in her community. She and her family enjoyed travelling in their RV as well as going on frequent cruises. Mrs. Jones will be greatly missed by her many friends and family. She was preceded in death by her brother, Earl Black (who is survived by his wife, Vonice). Other survivors, in addition to her husband, John, are her son, Steve Jones (Lori); granddaughter, Kristen Gazdick (Patrick); sister, Lucille Hucheson; and brothers, James Black (Betty), Wendell Black (Lawana), and Dale Black (Hilda). Mrs. Jones’ funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, May 14th at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, with Rev. Fred Norman officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on the day of the service. There will be a Graveside Service at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 15th at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Baxley, GA 31513.
