Nellie Kathleen Jones

Prior to retirement she was an Administrator with the Prudential Life Insurance Company in Jacksonville, Florida for 25 years. She has been a resident of Jacksonville since 1951 coming from Fitzgerald, Georgia.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Monroe Jones and two sons, Gary and Roy Jones. She is survived by one son, David K. Jones (Kathy) of Palm Harbor, Florida, one daughter Sandra Barnwell (Robert) of Fitzgerald, Georgia, two brothers, Franklin McDuffie and George McDuffie Jr. both of Fitzgerald, Georgia and two sisters, Margaret McCall and Annie Ruth Giddens also of Fitzgerald, Georgia, 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be on Thursday May 12, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32207.

A funeral service will be conducted on Friday May 13, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
