I am so sorry for the loss of my one and only mother-in-law, Nina.  She was such a sweet, good-hearted, generous woman.  She was a true example of what a Christian wife, mother, mother-in-law and MeMaw should be.  Me and my 3 sons will forever miss her and remember the good times and laughter we shared while they were growing up. She and her husband Bill, "PePaw" were wonderful grandparents and avid fans during their baseball and football years.   We know she is in a happier, pain-free place, but will miss her terribly.

Dear Family of Nina,

Our prayers go out to you all over your loss of Nina. Our memories go way, way to 1980's, when our families used to get together at either her house or ours. And then when those wonderful three grandsons, GaryIII, Eric and Ryan were born, we had many get togethers we shared at the boys birthdays and such.

Know that our prayers and thoughts go out to you all.

Nina was my Aunt, I love her and I will miss her dearly.  She loved all her family and was adored by them.  

My mom and Aunt Nina are sisters…I was born 4 months before her son, my cousin Gary.  We were raised up in a close family.  My Aunt included me in family vacations where we went camping, to visit family in West Virginia and to various beach destinations around the Southeast.  She taught me to eat peaches and cream, peanut butter and pineapple sandwiches and tomatoes with cottage cheese.  She made the best chicken and dumplings in the whole world.  They took me to Disney World for the first time when it opened!  She taught me that when you make egg salad, you don’t crack the eggs open in the boiling water…glad I learned that early on.  She had a big pool party for me at her house for my 13th birthday.

She loved her son, my sweet cousin Gary, with all her heart and it was same with him for her.  She enjoyed and adored her 3 grandsons: Gary, Eric and Ryan.  

She enjoyed gardening and planting beautiful flowers that she nurtured in her yard.  She enjoyed taking care of decorating her home.  She loved her church.  She loved her husband, Bill.

Aunt Nina made a conscious decision to “see the glass as half full”.  She practiced “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all”.  

Although I will miss her here, I know that she is Heaven rejoicing with her mother, my precious grandmother,  her father, and her brother, Bobby.

Bill, we are sending prayers and love to you and the family.  We have many good memories of you and Nina.  We love you!
