Norma Jean Bevis left us to become one of God’s Angels in Heaven on Friday March 18, 2016. She was born March 25, 1941 in Gadsden County Florida and grew up in Quincy, FL. She attended Gadsden County High and Florida Southern College.
Jean lived a very rewarding and productive life, in Jacksonville, working in the Office Products business, receiving numerous awards and recognitions for her leadership and dedication. She was a past President the Florida Office Products Association.
She is survived by her brother Bob Bevis, his wife Jackie of Cocoa Beach, nephew Bill Bevis of Sarasota, and many loving friends.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers please make a donation in her name to the American Cancer Society, which provided assistance during her illness. Arrangements are entrusted to the Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home at 1426 Rowe Av Jacksonville. Memories and thoughts may be shared at www.corey-kerlin.com. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday April 23rd at 11:00 AM. It will be Gator themed as Jean was a committed ultra Gator fan.
