Ollie A. Priester

Ollie Acuff Priester, 75, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2010. She was born July 26, 1935 in Fourmile, Kentucky to the late Floyd Thomas and Grace (Carnes) Acuff. Ollie was a resident of Jacksonville since 1953. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Riverview Chapter #265 since 1972. Ollie is preceded in death by her son, Michael E. Priester; sisters, Mary Acuff and Uhldean Acuff; brother, Billy Joe Acuff. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Percy E. Priester, Jr.; daughter, Sherry Priester Smith (Frederick); sisters, Alta Valentine, Blanche Wallace, Pereda Campbell, Betty Oakley, Minnie Ponsell, Jessie Smith, Myrtle Shifflett, Shirley Braswell; brother, Cecil Utah Acuff; daughter-in-law, Charlene Priester; many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. The family will greet friends for a visitation from 6-8 pm, Thursday, October 14, 2010 at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, October 15, 2010 at Evergreen Cemetery (Gate 2), 4535 Main Street.
