Pamela Flye Hurst

Pamela F. Hurst, age 57, of Jacksonville FL, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday October 22, 2019. She was born in Greenville, NC. and at the age of 2 moved to Florida with her family. Pam married Charles K. Hurst December 26, 1987. They were married for 31 years and had 4 children. She was an amazing woman and mother who loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. Pam was a devoted Christian with a deep love for her Lord, Jesus Christ and as such could often be found reading her bible. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. As a devoted mother, she stayed home with her children while also providing care for several of her nieces & nephews.

Pam is survived by her husband, Charles K. Hurst; children, Michael (Elisabeth) Flye, Crystal (Joey) Cox, Samantha (Chris) Lange, Amanda Hurst Coley; mother, Ann Evans (Bud); sister, Kim (Rick) Kreiner; and brother, Bucky (Katie) Flye. She proudly had 17 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews that she loved tremendously. She was preceded in death by her daddy, Alton (Buck) Flye and her grandson, Hunner Lane Hurst.

A celebration of Pam’s life will be held at Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville 1:00pm on Friday, November 8, 2019. Family and friends whose lives Pam touched are invited to attend.
