The children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren celebrate the life and legacy of our sweet and beloved matriarch known as mom, grandma, Ralph, and/or Mosie.
She lived an amazing 93-years of life, threaded by experiences that would mold her talents and personality: performing on the Roxy Theatre stage in New York, teaching Hollywood star’s children ballet at the Ebsen School of Dance in California, working as a secretary to the President of Academic Affairs at a local university, Sunday School teacher, Sacred Dance Director, bookkeeper for the family run Moses Pharmacy Stores, and involved in raising money for community events in the 70s.
If there were a game or an event a family member was involved in, mom would be present supporting and cheering on her loved one(s)- even if it meant traveling coast to coast for games. She truly loved being anyone’s number one fan and cheerleader.
Mom loved to sing, dance, play the piano, knit, sew, host parties, bake, Crossword puzzles, Florida Gators, spending time in Clayton, GA, sports, crafts, and creating and sending Happy Birthday and/or Happy Anniversary cards to anyone needing celebration. Mom was even known for opening her home to strangers who were in desperate times offering them a bed and a hot meal.
Mom had a clever wit and loved her family. If ever asked what she wanted, her response was never material, but “I WANT TO BE WITH MY FAMILY!”
Mom ensured our home was filled with music, hot meals, Jesus, traditions, themed parties, games, and togetherness. Life was always her stage; thus, she could be found doing a Tour Jete’ or a quick Pirouette up into her 90s.
Even in her latter days of life, she would sing hymns and harmonize and was often complimented as sounding like Julie Andrews.
As a believer, mom was ready to see Jesus. She spoke often about the beautiful reunion she would have with loved ones in heaven. She anticipated the day in which she’d leap into the arms of her Savior and did so gloriously when she was ushered into His presence on December 13, 2025!
She was preceded in death by her son Conway and husband Charlie. Patricia is survived by sisters (Donna Jean and Helen Marie), children (Heather, Risa, and Kevin), ten grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren.
The immediate family plans to have a private celebration of life. Respectfully, the family is not accepting flowers.
