Patricia Ann Powers, 52, went home into the presence of the Lord on June 26, 2015. Patty had recently become an ordained minister with The Assemblies of God. Patty and her husband were pastors at Freedom Christian Fellowship of the Assembly of God in Mandarin. Patty was a beloved wife, mother and daughter. She most loved her family, her Savior Jesus Christ and ministering to others with His love. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Stephen; sons, Stephen, Matthew, Nathaniel (Taylor) and Jonathan; parents-in-law, Ward and Meri Powers; and several other family members. Visitation will be held 6-9pm Tuesday, June 30 in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. A Celebration of Patty’s Life will be held at 2pm Wednesday, July 1 at Freedom Christian Fellowship, 3423 Loretto Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32223. Memorial contributions may be sent to the church for missionary work to children in India by Sara & John Urich on Patty’s behalf.
