

Ms. Dunn was born on July 24, 1942 in Uvalda, Georgia but lived most of her life in
Jacksonville, Florida. Pauline was a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending
Sundays with her family. Beach Road Chicken was the Sunday treat after church. She loved the
game of golf and loved to fish. The smaller the fish the better. Brim was her fish of choice. In
1999 she moved to Fruitland, Florida. She bought a RV camper and traveled around the United
States. After the traveling fun was over she started renting her house and cottage on the St
Johns River. Pauline’s Paradise as it was known to her guests. She loved having guests and
entertaining them. Everyone knew her in the small town.
She was preceded in death by her parents Zack Gray and Ina Gray; her sisters, Ellen Whitaker
and Margaret Lanier; her niece, Belinda Henderson; and her nephew Robby Whitaker. She is
survived by her son Stanley Dunn Jr. (Suzanne); brothers Dan Gray (Teresa) and Delmar Gray
(Sherry); two granddaughters Megan and Lindsey, and one great grandson, Karter. She also
had several nieces and nephews and loving friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2022 inside the Chapel of Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida 32207, with interment immediately following in Greenlawn Cemetery.
