Philip Johan Nordstrom

Philip Johan Nordstrom born December 19, 1936, in Duluth, Minnesota, was called to his Heavenly home December 19, 2025. Phil, as he was affectionately known, graduated from Denfeld High School, Duluth, MN, and then enrolled at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Phil moved to Jacksonville, FL and worked for Florida Equipment Company. He enlisted in the US Army and served in Korea. After his duty in the Army he enrolled at Stetson University in Deland, FL and received his degree in Finance and Banking. Phil was employed by Prudential Insurance Company in Jacksonville, FL and retired after 33 years. Phil was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church, where he worshipped God and enjoyed gospel music.

Phil is survived by his loving wife, Bobbie, married 67 years; beloved son Bruce(Jeanie); grandchildren Kacie(Paul) Lefebvre and Scott (Whitney) Nordstrom; and great-grandchildren Keira, Kylie Lefebvre, Eleanor and Oliver Nordstrom. He was predeceased by son, Mark Andrew Nordstrom, October 8, 2025.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 16, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218. Guests are asked to please arrive before 1:00 PM in Lane 2 for the service.
