

Don was a strong presents in our lives since we started to attend
Restoration Church always concerned how we were doing and what
if anything he could do for us. He and Missy showed us much love
and  made us feel a part of the Restoration family. His Discipleship
helped me in my walk with the Lord. We will greatly miss him.

 














I knew Don only a few short months since joining Restoration Church in September. 
But his mentoring presence was always right there encouraging my involvement.
His words were steady and true to the core of a brother in Christ. I respected him and loved him. 
I really miss going forward without him. And I know he would only want each of us to take up the slack and rise into the bold and fearless expression of the Word.
Thank you, Don, for all the blessings in the short time I was graced by your life.

Don was a man who wholeheartedly loved God and his fellowman.  We had this little saying between us “the fella in the foxhole”.  It meant the guy who has your back when you’re in trouble. Yes, Don was truly that “fella in the foxhole.” 

Now cracks a noble heart. Good-night, sweet prince;
And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.

Don was passionate about Christ most of all. He lives on as a testimony to God's power and grace. He is rejoicing with all those who have gone on, worshipping Christ and seeing and hearing and experiencing the things we cannot fathom. We will see him again soon. He lived well and God used him to bless countless others. We are praying for his family and all those who grieve his loss. He is loved by many and it brings so much condolence considering that we will join him one of these days. Grace and peace to you all as we remember a fine man and a life well lived!

Don was an incredible servant of God. He did everything in his might to follow JESUS and bring as many as he could with him. Love Don with all my heart. He built a wonderful men's ministry that I am sooooooo happy to be a part of. THE MIGHTY MEN OF VALOR. This really brought joy to him. Always smiling when the men attended the functions. Don we will miss you deeply and will carry on in your absence. Continue your work in heaven as we will join you. Love you Don. I AM YOUR BROTHER... Smiley.

Don was a mentor to me. He kept me connected with our brothers through men’s ministry events, especially when I first started at the Restoration Church. I remember meeting with him and Gerald at 6am once a week at the church to do our "Tell Someone” study. It was early in the morning, but it was a great time to learn more about Christ. I learned a lot from Don and Gerald during those sessions. 
I appreciated Don's Christ focus advice in bible studies, during Saturday morning breakfast at Golden Coral, and in the church lobby. Don wouldn't let too much time pass by without checking in on me. He would send an occasion text to let me know that he was praying for me and my family. I’ll miss his companionship and his leadership.  


Sending our thoughts and prayers for Missy and the family.  May God bless you with supernatural peace and comfort during this most difficult time.  Don was such a unique and very special guy who loved Jesus with all his heart and wanted to do all that he could for our dear Lord and Savior.  He also loved his family with all of his heart and that was clearly seen by all who knew him.  He will definitely be missed tremendously by all of us.  God has welcomed his dedicated servant to his permanent new home with a new body free of sickness and pain forever and ever.  Until we meet again dear friend and brother in the Lord. It was always a pleasure seeing and talking with Don. We talked a few times of his time in the war and he told me of his opportunity to man the gun a few times, which he seemed very proud of. His testimony was powerful and inspiring. God answered Don's prayers on multiple occasions and Don was maximizing his purpose of discipleship through outreach and his work with the Church. He was a joyful man, easily approachable, and sincere. I will miss him, but am happy to know that he is in the presence of God and filled with the joys heaven.

I knew Don for a few years, but it didn't take long to see what he was.
A True Warrior for God, Country and Family. He will be deeply missed on earth, but Heaven is rejoicing for him. 
I am confident Don heard "Well done". 
I pray that his family and friends will be comforted by our Lord and Savior.
Don, thank you for all you did!

I like to remember how Don, with earnest, sought to know me when I was new to Restoration Church. He texted, called, and engaged me in person for the rest of my time knowing him. From my view, he demonstrated faithfulness to God in all that he put his hands to. I will remember his signature sign-off from his texts - "I am your brother". To Missy and family, my love and prayers for God's comfort.

Don will be greatly missed. I always enjoyed greeting him at church. I'll also miss golfing with him. Don's service and devotion to the Lord was visibly sincere, and he was always focused on spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. 

Thoughts and prayers go out to Missy, Greg and family.  Don had become one of my closest friends and a true example of Christian discipleship.  He worked tirelessly as leader of the Restoration Church Men's ministry.  He was thoughtful and kind and was always looking for an opportunity to share his testimony with people.  His mantra was "Tell Someone" and he truly lived by it.  He will truly be missed by myself and all of the brothers he referred to as "mighty men of valor".  Well done good and faithful servant!
