

He was an extremely energetic, lively, and caring person who enjoyed every day he lived. He was dedicated to spreading his knowledge of health and physiology with the world. He never passed up the opportunity to learn about science and love every aspect of life and how it works. He devoted his life to his wife, his children, and to his family and friends.
Rafael graduated from High School, No. 46 in Baku, Azerbaijan. He thereafter completed a number of different degrees including A Bachelors in Sports Science and Physical Education. Upon his arrival to the United States, Rafael attended FCCJ and graduated from Alpha School of Neuromuscular Massage Therapy. After completing his education, he accepted several different positions throughout the course of his career. He was a licensed massage therapist for over a decade and then branched out to instructing at several universities and institutes such as Heritage Institute, Everest University, and Virginia College. He was loved and adored by all of his students and highly respected by his fellow colleagues.
He is survived by his spouse, Janna and four children, Natavan, Zemfira, Gulnara, and Nazila, five grandchildren Fidan, Aidan, Nigar, Nailya, and Farid, and two siblings Zhanna and Youriy.
A visitation will be held Friday, November 27, 2015 at Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery 4300 Beach Boulevard. From 1:30-2:30pm. The funeral service will be held at 2:30pm Friday November 27, 2015.
