Born on March 5th 1942 in St. Francisville IL, he earned a master's degree from FSU and served proudly in the Air Force for 18 years.
He will be remembered dearly by his wife Elizabeth, son John, and sisters Alice Alcorn, Clara Miller, and Marie Swenson.
A visitation for Ray will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32223. Following the visitation will be a graveside service from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
