He retired after many years with the city of Jacksonville and the Jacksonville Shipyards. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and David LaJeune. He is survived by his brother, Richard LaJeune (Shirley), nephews, Scott LaJeune (Carolyn) of Cumming, GA. Todd LaJeune, Jacksonville and his niece Lori LaJeune of Neptune Beach, Tom (Jennifer) and Terry Shirley (Cathi) step nephews, several great and great great nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and loved ones.
The family will receive friends 10AM-11AM Thursday, October 16 at Greenlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4300 Beach Boulevard. The funeral will follow immediately after at 11AM.
