

Born on September 8, 1943, in Providence, Rhode Island, Bob was the son of James Lionel Ennis and Agnes Oberg Ennis. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bonita Power Ennis.
He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Ennis Mesic, of Ponte Vedra, FL, her husband Elvir, and their daughters, Ayla and Elina. He is also survived by his son, Jeffrey Power Ennis, of Tampa, FL, his wife Stacia, and their sons, Liam and Conor.
Bob leaves behind his brothers, Daniel Ennis and Richard Ennis, along with their families.
He attended Rollins College on a baseball scholarship where he received his Bachelor of Business before serving in the U.S. Navy. Following his service, he earned a Bachelor of Advanced Accounting from the University of Florida.
A founding partner of the accounting firm Ennis, Pellum & Associates in 1978, Bob dedicated more than four decades to the firm before retiring in 2018.
An avid outdoorsman and traveler, Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, reading and, most recently, pickleball. Above all, he cherished time spent with his grandchildren.
Bob was a devoted member of Palms Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, and actively served his community through volunteer work at the BEAM Mayport Market.
Memorial services will be held at Jacksonville National Cemetery, on Friday, June 20th at 9:30am, with Pastor Bryant Anderson of Palms Presbyterian Church. There will be a celebration of Bob’s life at 12:00pm, at Palms Presbyterian, 3410 S. Third Street, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250
