Robert Boyce Greenleaf (“Bobby”) passed away on June 22, 2025 after suffering complications from several long-term medical conditions. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Hodges Greenleaf, his wife, Teri Lynn Smith, and his younger brother, Barry Harrell Greenleaf. He is survived by his father, V. B. “Bob” Greenleaf.
Bobby was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, and was a graduate of Wolfson High School, where he began his lifelong love of weightlifting. With his younger brother, Barry, he shared a love of comics and science fiction. His other pastimes included researching and making military models, reading military history, and visiting historical military sites. He loved his country and was proud to be an American.
Bobby tried to live his life to the fullest, often saying he had a strong will to live. He fought his illnesses to the very last, always believing he could recover, and never giving up the struggle to keep going.
