Robert Neil "Bobby" Sloan, Sr., 81, passed away Monday, April 30, 2018. Mr. Sloan was born in Jacksonville and had lived in McAlpin, Florida for over 15 years. He was a Millwright by trade, member of Local 2411.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Bonnie Daigle (Eddie) and Penny Sloan; 1 son, Neil Sloan, Jr.(Lisa); 1 sister, Linda Joiner (Larry); 8 grandchildren: Christopher, Ciara, Martina (Andy), Jacob, Marisa (Jonathan), Skyler, Nigel and Nathan; 1 great granddaughter, Gracie; and many other loving family and friends.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 5, at Evergreen Cemetery (Gate #1).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Mr. Sloan's memory to the Jacksonville Humane Society.
