Rosalie Emma (Lawrence) Elliott, 96, longtime resident of Jacksonville, passed away in Hospice care October 14th, 2018. She was born November 20, 1921 in Robinson, Illinois. Rosalie was a loving mother and wife. She enjoyed being a 4th grade Sunday School teacher, was active in community service and she was a charter member of Kernan Boulevard Baptist Church.
Surviving are her loving children, Wayne Elliot (Louise), Arthur Elliott Jr. (Liz), Ron Elliott (Kathleen), 7 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 12 step-great-grandchildren. Rosalie is predeceased by her husband Arthur G. Elliott, her son Darrin Elliott, parents Oliver J. Lawrence & Corrine Deal Lawrence and her two brothers.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October, 2018 at Kernan Boulevard Baptist Church, 4000 Kernan Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32224 with Pastor William Crook officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will immediately follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida. A memorial in Rosalie's name may be directed to Kernan Boulevard Baptist Church.
