Ruth M. Perry

Ruth Coleman Cannon Hysler Perry, 90, of Jacksonville, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2011 at the Taylor Care Center. Ruth was born on May 20, 1920 in Jacksonville to the late William Jesse Coleman and Mary A. (Geiger) Coleman. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed crafts, reading, cross word puzzles, swimming, and loved to cook. Ruth was a Homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Dunn (Bob); her son, David Hysler (Merrilee); her daughter, Brenda Hysler; her daughter, Donna Greene (Tommy); her sister, Violet Parker; 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great-grandchildren; and her daughter-in-law, Kitty Cannon Waddell. Ruth was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Cannon and her daughter, Linda Hysler. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, January 24 in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 25 in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Murphy as Officiant, followed by interment in Gravely Hill Cemetery.
