Sandra Weaver Disbrow

Sandra Disbrow Weaver, 72, a Jacksonville native and lifelong resident, passed away June 28, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Walter Frost Weaver, Jr. and Beatrice (Cheney) Weaver, and she was the widow of Edward Disbrow. Sandra was a majorette at Landon High School and she graduated in 1957. She attended college in Kilgore, Texas where she was the captain of the Rangerettes, and then she attended the University of Alabama.

She was a wonderful mother, sister, friend and neighbor and she was surrounded by a very supportive extended family in Jacksonville.

Surviving are a daughter, Wendy Smith, son in law Gavin Smith, three grandchildren: Kyle, Garrett and Dillon, a brother, Walter Frost Weaver III, and other relatives and dear friends.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 10:30 am at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32207.
