

Sara Melissa, known to her family as “Lissa” was a gentle passionate soul, who was a talented artist, proud Colombian, super soccer fan, shark lover, music lover, humanitarian and the most passion she had in her heart and soul was a devotion to her daughter Maria Rose. Lissa had a vibrant stunning character, which matched her tattoos. Her quick wit and character always made us laugh and sometimes made us cry.
Lissa is predeceased by he Great Grandfather Sigifredo Vivas, Sr., and Great, Great Grandmother Celmira Cleves.
She is survived by her husband Michael "Mike" Jarrell, her beloved daughter Maria Rose Jarrell, her mother Maria Vivas, her grandmother Raquel Vivas, great aunts Gloria (William) Howard, Celmira De Jimenez (Gonzalo), Rhonda Rees-Vivas, and Beatriz Strickland (James), Elizabeth Lyons (Lyle), her uncles, Sigifredo (Julie) Vivas, German Vivas, William Vivas, and Mike Vivas, her brother and sister of her heart Elena Vivas and William "Cito" Vivas, her cousins Eddie Vivas, Andy Vivas, Rafi Vivas and Louis Vivas, Michelle Turner (Gary), John Cleves, Juan Carlos (Grace), Bobbi Cleves (Desiree), Andrea Corbo (Izzy), Marta Howard, Sabrina Strickland, Sonja Strickland, Gonzalo Jimenez, Freddy Jimenez, Jaime Jimenez, Jodie Britt, Summer Duncan and numerous other cousins and her loving friends.
Lissa we will cherish your memory, celebrate your life and promise to keep your spirit in Maria Rose's life. Maria Rose wants to say "Mommie, I love you, but I know you are with Jesus and that makes me happy".
The family would like to thank all of her friends for the outpouring of sympathy during our time of pain and loss.
Lissa's memorial service will be at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 2609 Park Street, Jacksonville, Florida at 9:00 A.M., (E.S.T.)
In lieu of flowers and in honor of her memory, the family requests donations be made to the Epilepsy Foundation in Sara Vivas's name.
