Sara Willis Warren

WARRENSara Willis Warren, 91, of Jacksonville, Florida, made her final journey home on February 7, 2012. She was a wife, mother, Nana, sister and friend. Sara was born on November 9, 1920 in Ty Ty, Georgia to the late Gilbert and Nan Willis and was married 56 years to the late Wilfoch L. Warren.Sara was a long-time member of Arlington Baptist Church. She was retired from Terry Parker High School after 23 years of loyal service. Sara is survived by two children: Kay W. Johns (Robert) and Janet W. Still (Melvin). She was blessed with 4 grandchildren: Kevin W. Johns, Brett A. Johns, Jennifer Johns Pittman and Kerri S. Wright, as well as 10 great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Sydney, Robert, Emily, Sarah, Morgan, Ethan, Rylan, Zachary and Jessica. Sara is also survived by a brother, Baine C. Willis and predeceased by two sisters, Virginia W. Grantham and Patsy W. Love Elliott.Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2012. the family will receive visitors an hour prior to the service. Interment will be held in Greenlawn Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in her name to Taylor Care Center, 6535 Chester Ave. Jacksonville, FL. 32217 or N.
