

Sean Lavonne Hartley, Jr, age 20, of St Augustine, passed away Monday, November 16, 2015. Sean was born on March 7, 1995 in Jacksonville, Florida to Sean Lavonne Hartley, Sr. and Nancy Inez Fowler. Sean was raised with a loving step-father, Gerald Deshone Ledet. Sean graduated from Allen D Nease High School, where he also played football. Sean was known for his “Million Dollar” smile. Sean never met a stranger, would go out of his way to make new friends, and was a “champion” for the underdog. Sean enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching and playing sports, fishing, listening to music and hanging out with the “fabulous five”. He loved to spend time with his sisters and brother and was their biggest fan! Sean will forever be remembered as a loving son and brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and a great friend to many! In the words of Sean “You can’t live afraid, you have to live fearless”! Friend or not, Sean would ask “Who are you?”.
Sean is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lenard Fowler, Oliver and Coritha Hartley. Sean leaves behind his parents, Sean L Hartley Sr, Nancy and Gerald Ledet; grandmother; Annette Fowler; great-grandparents, Jean and John Lohrer; sisters, Bria Hartley and Nadiya Ledet; brother, Gerald Ledet; as well as many aunts, uncles, extended family and a multitude of special friends.
