

Sharon Clemons Cleveland (age 64) died on Friday, December 5, 2014 at St. Vincent’s Hospital Southside in Jacksonville, Florida after a short fight with cancer. Sharon was born February 13, 1950 to Millard “Mitch” Clemons and Harriette “Beth” Tucker Clemons in Memphis, Tennessee. After living in Hawaii and Virginia Beach, Sharon’s family returned to Tennessee where she graduated from Millington Central High School. While living in Memphis, Sharon spent many years working for Treace Medical. It was while working there that she was transferred to Jacksonville, Florida where she spent the remainder of her years.
Sharon changed careers after coming to Jacksonville and spent many years working as a real estate agent with Watson Realty Corp. Sharon’s selflessness, dedication and sense of humor endeared her to co-workers, friends and family. Her friends and family knew Sharon to speak her mind and always felt that “if you can’t do it with a glad heart, then don’t.” Sharon is preceded in death by Harriette “Beth” Tucker Clemons, mother; Lynda Scates, sister and Carole Harvey, sister.
She is survived by Millard “Mitch” Clemons, father; Johnny and Mitchell Clemons, brothers; Carrie Millican, daughter; W. Matthew Millican, son; Grace and Gwyneth Millican, granddaughters; Will Millican and Liam Bekkedal, grandsons. A Celebration of Life service, where family and friends can share anecdotes and memories, will be held December 9, 2014 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 729 S Edgewood Ave, Jacksonville, Florida 32205 from 6-8 p.m.
