

She was preceded in death by her parents William F. Howard Jr. and Nadine S. Howard. Also, her brothers Randall Howard and William F. Howard III. Sharon is survived by her loving husband Jim, their children Bryan Davis (Sonya) and Priscilla Johnston, granddaughter’s Kayla Davis Boynton (Tommy), Bryanna and Sophia Davis, her great grandson Theodore James Boynton. She leaves behind her sister Patricia Bridgemen (Charlie) and brother Franklin Donald Howard sister in law Debbie Howard and many nieces and nephews.
Sharon was born in St. Augustine and grew up in Jacksonville, Florida. She was the definition of dedication as she raised two children, worked full time, and managed to obtain her cosmetology license. With that license, she owned and operated a salon for many years. Sharon gave to her community as a member of Mandarin United Methodist Church, and in her desire to help others she worked diligently and became a Stephen Minister on June 11, 2015.
Sharon was known for her love of a great many things including Christmas, the Florida Gators, Southern Cooking and Bling (not necessarily in that order) her favorite color was purple. Her vivacious personality left a lasting impression on most everyone she met.
Visitation will take place on Monday, February 3, 2025 between 5:00 and 7:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home located at 11801 San Jose Boulevard Jacksonville, Florida, 32223 with the funeral taking place at 11:00 AM in the same location. Interment will follow after at Oaklawn Cemetery located at 4801 San Jose Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida, 32207.
