
Stanley Bernard Gelman, age 78, of Jacksonville, Florida, was born on August 25, 1942 and died on March 28, 2021 after an extended illness. Stanley is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Colleen D. Gelman, his children, Bruce (Michele) Gelman, Mark (Laurie) Gelman, Paige (Justin) Terry, Jeff (Kellie) Jackson, Chris (Jaime ) Jackson, Matthew (Rosanna) Gelman, and grandchildren Thomas Gelman, Michael Gelman, Laura Margaret Gelman, Charlie Gelman, Poppy Gelman, Teddy Gelman, Hannah Terry, Will Terry, Justin Jackson, Megan Jackson and Karina Gelman. He had many cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Estelle and Herman Gelman. Stanley grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and attended Landon High School, Class of 1960. He graduated from Jacksonville University, and later earned his law degree from Stetson University. Stanley practiced law in Jacksonville through the 1980s, with subsequent careers in numerous businesses, ultimately creating The Property Manager of Jacksonville, which he ran as President for more than 20 years. Stanley was a member of The Jacksonville Jewish Center and Beth Shalom Synagogues and was proud of his Jewish faith. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Hospice of NE Florida.
