Stanley E. Tipton

Stanley E. Tipton, 87, passed away January 5, 2014. Stanley was born to the late William and Eunice Tipton in Portsmouth, OH. He proudly served in the US Army during WWII. Stanley married Mary Ellen Parsley in Greenup, KY, January 9, 1945. He was a lifelong member of the United Pentecostal Church. After 40 years of employment, Stanley retired from Timken Roller Bearings Company in Columbus, OH.

Stanley is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Mary; and siblings, John, David, Margaret, Gertrude, Jim, and Ted. He is survived by daughters, Janet Marshall (Pete), Donna Montler (Jim), Linda Owens, Margaret Tipton, and Kimberly Kitchen (Steve); brother, Norman Tipton; 17 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and 1 great great granddaughter.

A Visitation will be held from 6-8pm, Tuesday, January 7 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. The Funeral Service will be held at 3pm, Wednesday, January 8 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin with interment following at Mandarin Cemetery.
