Stephen Michael Levault

Stephen Michael LeVault "Steve", age 47, went to live with God on November 27th, 2024. He was born in Elgin Illinois on February 19th, 1977, to Michael C. LeVault (Father) & Michal J. LeVault (Fees; Mother). Steve grew up in Elgin Illinois. He attended St. Laurence Catholic School for 8 years, and then graduated from St. Edward Central Catholic High School in 1995. He received a degree in Culinary Arts from Elgin Community College in 1997. He worked in many restaurants, country clubs, and hotels over his career, which he enjoyed very much.

Steve moved with his parents & sister to Saint John's, Florida in 2001. Steve enjoyed his career but also loved playing his PlayStation & watching sports, especially college football (Go Seminoles). He enjoyed having many conversations with his dad about sports. Steve always enjoyed having pets. He leaves behind his beloved Boston Terrier named Caray.

Steve is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles G. LeVault "Chuck", Otto S. Fees, and Jeannette M. Fees (Oldenburg); an Uncle Stephen R. LeVault; and many other aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his parents, Mike & Michal LeVault of Saint Johns, two older sisters, Heather M. Geye (Kevin) of McFarland, WI; Heidi M. Latham (Marcus) of Saint Johns; grandmother, Dorothy L. LeVault (Sinn) of Geneva, IL; nephew, Henry S. Geye of McFarland, WI; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Everyone that knew Steve said how nice and kind he was. He was always smiling. He will be missed tremendously. He was taken from his loved ones far too soon. But they are able to move on with so many great memories and knowing he is with God in heaven, where we'll all see him again.

A funeral mass will take place Wednesday, December 18th at 10:30 AM at San Juan Del Rio Catholic Church, 1718 FL-13, Saint Johns, FL 32259.
