Steve Riner

Steve Riner, 71, of Callahan passed away August 5, 2023, 7:35 a.m., at his home. He was born September 21, 1951 in Reidsville, Georgia to Thomas Wade and Sara Mae (Findley) Riner. Steve was a very hard-working man always putting his family first. But he would always try to help anyone out who asked him for help.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Wade and Sara Mae (Findley) Riner; and several uncles and aunts to help greet him and one special niece, Melissa.

Steve leaves behind his wife of 45 years, Donna Riner; daughter, Jessica (Wyatt) Scanlon; son, Steven (Sabrina) Riner; brothers, Dean Riner, Wade (Crystal) Riner; sister, Janis (Eric) Harmon; grandchildren, Kristin (David) Riner, Steven D. Riner Jr., Chelsey Riner, Sean Scanlon; great-grandchildren, Nova Gray, Adilyn Grace; and many nieces, nephews, and in-laws that he loved so very much.

Steve will be greatly missed, but we know we will see him again one day!

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 18, 2023 in the Chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave., Jax. FL 32208, with the Funeral Service following at 2:00 p.m.
