He was born and raised in Hazard, Kentucky. Moved to Jacksonville, Florida were he became a Nurse Practitioner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn Dickerson and Mavis Tish. As well as his brother Michael James Dickerson. Steven leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory, niece Sandra Dickerson (Carl Wayne Eversole Jr), Great Nephews Carl Wayne Eversole 3rd, and Brandon Eversole Great Niece Sadie Eversole, and other family and friends.
