I am so sorry to hear of  Tammy’s passing.  It has been heavy on my heart for the past couple weeks.  I haven’t seen Tammy since I moved from Albany but we were friends.  6th grade at Sherwood we were the flag girls.  We got to go every afternoon and take the flag down and fold it and deliver it to the principle’s office.  We also cheered together for one of the local rec football teams in 6th grade.  I remember, even that many years ago, her being so fun.  And I remember her trying out for middle school cheer at AJHS.  She came out on stage and did a cartwheel.  It wasn’t a good one so she said oops and ran off stage and then ran right back and started over.   Weird I remember these random things but they are great memories of a sweet and funny friend.

I haven't seen Tammy in many years, but I do know she has always been beautiful, kind and funny. I will never forget when she was the Maid of Honor in her sister Debbie's wedding in 1981. I was standing behind her at the altar when she swayed slightly and her hair caught fire from a candleabra. The pastor quickly removed his robe and threw it over her head. Thankfully she had so much hair spray on that her hair did not get burnt. This happened just before video cameras came out and I've always said, if that had been videoed Tammy would have won the top prize on one of those home video shows. She was such a good sport, always fun to be around!    My deepest condolences to the entire family and to Tammy's friends. Rest in heaven sweet lady.        Sincerely, Tammy Fountain

I am so very sorry to hear of Tammy’s passing.. I am praying for your family! I met Tammy in the 4th grade at Shoreham Apartments. We lived in the same building and became fast friends! When I met Tammy, I met my match. She was hilarious, loud, full of energy, caring, passionate, and loved her family. She worked hard and loved even harder. I loved chatting with Tammy about our memories of growing up together. Tammy has a very special place in my heart 💙.

Mrs. Tammy never liked me calling her Mrs as we she loved being one of the “girls”! Growing up in baton twirling alongside Kristin, we spent many weekends together with the girls and moms at competitions. These friendships spanned far beyond the practices as they led to twilight movie premieres, sleepovers, memorable birthdays and even weddings!  

I’m grateful for the joy Mrs. Tammy brought to our lives in those formative seasons. May she rest peacefully.

I am so shocked to hear of Tammy’s passing. Years ago I hung out with Tammy and her friends in our 20s. I once made a “monkey face” taking my hands and pulling my ears to the side. I was just being goofy funny, but it really made Tammy laugh and all these years she referred to me as “monkey face” . 😊.  When I think of Tammy, I remember Def Leppard music the best! Tammy said what she thought…no filters…no regrets. She kept us all on our toes. I was blessed to be her youth pastor in Albany. Learn from Tammy…don’t hesitate to share what is on your heart…especially the love God has for each of us. Make God smile! 😊

We had the pleasure of meeting Tambo through our friends Jan & Mitch.  Always met us with a smile and shared a bunch of laughs together.  I bet Tambo met Jesus with even more energy than she would when at a Brad Paisley concert.  Our condolences to Krist and all rest of the family.  

The truth of our salvation is we'll meet again.  1 Thessalonians 4:17.  May this truth bring comfort to the family and friends.

Tammy, my beloved cousin. I have so many wonderful memories of the time we were able to spend together when we both lived in Cuero while you were in high school.  We had so much fun!  I was absolutely heartbroken to hear you had passed away.  You were so loved by so many.  I know we hadn’t seen each other since we met in the early 80s but I loved you dearly then and I love you dearly now. I can’t wait to see you again when it is my turn to leave this earth.  ❤️❤️
