
Terri Charme Jackson passed away suddenly on August 24, 2022 of cardiac failure. Born September 1, 1950 in Pensacola, Florida, Terri is preceded in death by her mother, Charme B. Kirby, father, Navy LCDR Donald G. Jackson, and stepfather, T. Malcolm Kirby. She is survived by her brother, “Chip” Jackson, and her sister, Kimberly Holmes of Jacksonville. Other surviving relatives include an aunt, Marilyn Benson of Jacksonville; a cousin, Kevyn Kello of Jacksonville; two nieces, Patti-Lynn Walker of Driftwood, Texas, and Lindzee Dunn of Jacksonville; and four nephews, Adam Holmes of Jacksonville, Malcolm Holmes of Driftwood, Texas, Kirby McClure of Los Angeles, and Donny Jackson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
An enthusiastic equestrian in her youth, Terri graduated from Wolfson High School in 1969. She enjoyed reading books and watching movies, particularly works that involved science fiction and/or magic. Proud of her Scottish lineage, Terri did extensive research about her family’s ancestry and the traditions of Scotland, a country she visited in 2001. Terri was an accomplished artist in many forms of needlework and was a lover of dogs and cats.
