Terry was born on July 3, 1940 in Houston, Texas. He later met and married the love of his life, Tutti, on June 23, 1963 at Annunciation Catholic Church. He attended the University of Houston prior to starting a successful career with Prudential Insurance Company in Houston. He rose through the ranks of management and was well-respected. He served as president of the Prudential Employees Association in Houston. He was transferred to Jacksonville, Florida in 1984 and retired in 1994 after 33 years of dedicated service. He later served as president of the Prudential Retirees Association in Jacksonville.
Terry loved and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Terry was also a longtime brother in the Knights of Columbus, having achieved his 4th degree. He was an active volunteer at All Saints Catholic Nursing Home. He also enjoyed traveling with Tutti, which is evident in the many countries they visited. Along with the unconditional love for his family, Terry had a passion for music, especially from the 1950s and 1960s. This led him to becoming a long-term member of the Jacksonville Doo Wop Club. While living in Texas, Terry enjoyed attending Houston Astros baseball games as well as league bowling.
Terry’s family would like to thank his many loving caregivers and therapists, who were by his side throughout his courageous battle. Their love and dedication will never be forgotten.
