Shelly.  Words cannot express my sadness upon seeing that Thamesh  lost his life.  I never saw or heard anything about this anywhere on the news or social media.  My heart simply breaks that he was taken so young.  I have so many fond memories of Thamesh as well as Karishma at TLAE.  I  don't know if he remembered me, but it was always  a joy to see him at school. I wish I had the words to say that would be comforting to you all, but I can't think of anything that would take the pain of a lost child away. Yes he was 21, but will always be the 5th grader I knew from school. May God be with you all, and give you strength to make it through each day, until you all are together once more.  May God's peace be with you.

Thamesh, you were truly a one of a kind person. you never failed to make me smile & laugh even in the shortest interactions. i’m so appreciative that i was able to grow up & experience life with someone as special as you.

I was never friends with Thamesh. We went to both middle and high school together but we were never really friends. We knew each other, would say hello occasionally but that was about it. 

Near the end of high school I felt like an outcast, my friends abandoned me and I felt like I had no one. I contemplated suicide because of it. What kept me from doing it was because Thamesh would recognize me and say hello and talk to me whenever he saw me. He probably didn't even realize what an impact that had on me. I am so sorry to hear about his passing. He was a truly amazing soul that was taken from us too soon. I felt the need to share this because people need to know what kind of an impact he had on the world without even trying. 

I wish I had the opportunity to repay his kindness. I guess the only way I can now is to live by his example.

I knew Thamesh from elementary school, mainly. We shared a lot of classes together, had siblings that shared classes together, and our parents kept in touch after graduation.

I doubt he ever knew, and doubt that Ms. Ramjit ever spoke of me as often as I heard of him, but I always loved hearing updates about him. I knew him to be sweet, smart, and funny, and it warms my heart to know he only grew sweeter, smarter, and funnier. And I am so, so sorry for what happened. He had so much to offer the world, and I know he'll leave behind an unfillable hole in so many of his loved ones' lives. Please be patient with yourselves amidst his loss. He was such a great man. I'm so sorry.

I looked up today and saw this in the sky—the way the clouds opened and the light broke through looked exactly like a “T.” On the day of Thamesh’s funeral.

I’ve never seen anything like it before. It just felt surreal… like the world paused for a second to say his name.

Rest easy, Thamesh. Your presence is still here, shining through even the clouds.

I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Thamesh from one class we took throughout elementary school and we were in the same group for another class in high school. I remember him to be kind, smart, and caring. In our group projects, no matter how late he finished his part, he always got it done and did it really well. He had such a presence and seemed to be made to be known. Thinking of you and Karishma and the rest of your family, and hope you are ok.

It is so difficult for us to contain our sorrow and tears for you and your family over this tragic loss. Our hearts go out to you and your family and we pray that you will find strength, peace and comfort in the support of family and faith.  We love you all.

Thamesh was such a lively person who always had smile on his face every time I saw him.  He had such an amazing ability to turn any stranger into a friend even in one conversation.  I always looked forward to seeing him at events. Where he went smiles and laughter followed.  I wish I had the opportunity to get to know him more.  Thamesh you will be so very missed. You were truly one of a kind.

I'm at a loss for words. You were a fundamental part of my upbringing and I wouldn't be the person I am today without your friendship. You lit up every room you were in. It was truly a privilege to know you.

After hearing about the news, a flood of memories rushed back of Thamesh and I's interactions in high school, hanging out in groups, working together for clubs at school, and more. 


Although we were never very close, I did know that he was always quick to make people laugh and feel comfortable. From what I have seen in the past 5 years of knowing Thamesh, I know he is very dearly and deeply loved by his friends, and my heart goes out to them. I can't imagine their pain, and much less of his family.


It's hard to look at old pictures in my camera roll with him in it, knowing that his life was taken much too soon. It is so extremely unfair. He had so much going on for him, and so much ahead of him.


My only hope now is that he rests in peace, that his memory lives on, and that his loved ones find a source of comfort at this time.

My sweet baby. I knew you were special the first day of first grade and until you exited my class in second grade. I was lucky to have you two years. You were a special young man and my heart is forever broken.
