Theresa Rose Flanagan

Theresa Rose Flanagan, age 86, of Jacksonville, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015. Born in New York City, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Dunne. Theresa, a devout Catholic, was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church community since 1986.

She is survived by her children; Kevin Flanagan of Arlington, VA, Michael Flanagan of Sacramento, CA, Mary DeLeeuw of Canton, MI, Martin Flanagan of Johns Creek, GA, Theresa Flanagan of Houston, TX, Cathy Giles of Franklin, TN, Joanne Palmer of Jacksonville, FL, Timothy Flanagan of Ann Arbor, MI, Gary Flanagan of East Long Meadow, MA, Patrick Flanagan of Canton, MI, and William Flanagan of Loveland OH; and 13 grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William James Flanagan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 26, 2015 at eleven o’clock in the morning at Holy Family Catholic Church with Monsignor Daniel Logan officiating. Burial in Jacksonville National Cemetery will follow at one-thirty in the afternoon. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Hardage – Giddens, Hendricks Chapel from two o’clock until four o’clock in the afternoon.
