Tracey Lynn Angelo Bent

Tracey, age 56, died peacefully on the beautiful morning of July 23, 2018 after a long and valiant fight against cancer. Her fortitude and grace through her recent struggles were an inspiration to her family and friends, and her faith in her Creator is a great comfort to us all.

Tracey was born in Houston, Texas to her loving parents, Jamil and Mary Angelo, and was blessed with her younger brother Marc. Tracey attended Dulles High School in Sugarland, TX and the University of Nebraska where she made waves with her flag as a drill team member. Her zest for life, bright smile, and big heart were a joy to her dear friends and family.

Tracey was married in 1992 to Robert Paul Bent and has two amazing children, Barbara Taylor Bent, age 24, and Robert Van Etten Bent, age 20. A devoted mother and wife, she blessed their lives with a loving home filled with laughter and wonderful memories. She had a passion for cooking and for eating; every meal was a celebration. Tracey never knew a stranger and her selfless, compassionate nature was expressed in her relationships with others.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by all who were blessed to know her. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society on behalf of Tracey.
