Trudy Frances Rogero

Gertrude “Trudy” Frances Rogero, born in Brooklyn, NY, to Gertrude and Jack Young, went to be with the Lord on April 16th, 2012. Trudy was a wonderful wife and mother who always put her family first and was loved by all.

Surviving family members include, her devoted husband, Stephen A. Rogero, Sr.; children, Stephen A. Rogero, Jr. of Houston, TX, Patrick J. Rogero of Welaka, FL, Michael J. Rogero of St. Johns, FL, Annette R. Braddock of Kennesaw, GA, John B. Rogero of St. Johns, FL and Robert P. Rogero of Ranger, GA.; 20 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Trudy is predeceased by her daughter, Judith K. Drake.

Visitation will be held from 6:30-8:30pm, TODAY, Wednesday, April 18th in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin with the Rosary at 7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00am on Thursday April 19th in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 11730 Old St. Augustine Rd, with Father Daniel Cody as Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Northeast Florida Community Hospice or to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
